On 01/09/2021, it was decided that The Hymns Competition will be offered the night before, Friday, April 16, 2021, on ZOOM to accommodate those who wish to participate, but are unable to travel to the physical location of the event

The Competition will start at 6:30 PM on 04/16/2021​ and once you enter the main session, you will be sent into the appropriate breakout room and there you will compete in front of the three judges and your fellow peers!

​

Each room will have a monitor who will facilitate the breakout room tasks and be there to answer your specific questions via the chat feature. Everyone will be MUTED until the monitor gives permission to unmute. Everyone is encouraged to have their cameras turned ON during the entire meeting, but only those competing will be REQUIRED to turn it on

​

Once you have competed, you are free to leave the meeting but can also stay and watch your friends and family compete

The Competition will start at 12:30 PM on 04/17/2021 at St. George in Norristown, but everyone is invited to attend Liturgy from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM. Breakfast will start being served at 11:15 AM. Final Reviews and Safe-Fellowship will take place until 12:30 PM

​

Everyone is REQUIRED to wear an appropriate mask and maintain social distancing at ALL times

• The only times where an individual may remove their mask is when they are competing in front of the judges and when they are eating/drinking

​

Each group will compete in a different location:

• First Group: The Auditorium

• Second Group: The Main Church

• Third Group: The 4th and 5th Grade Sunday School Room

  • Across from Abouna Mina Shaheid's office on the first floor

• Fourth Group: The Main Church once Second Group has finished

• Choir Group: The Main Church once Fourth Group has finished

​

Lunch will begin being served at 2:00 PM and people will be allowed entrance to the cafeteria in small waves to comply with COVID-19 Precautionary Guidelines

​

Winners will be announced around 6:00 PM w/ HG Bishop Karas and The Fathers present
